With more and more Locations coming in it is more and more difficult to pick the best one!
This week it was more tough than ever to find the worthy winner of the top location! We had all colors from all corners of the world, but in the end we went with the green and blue tones of the Oxford Canal. As oldskool_rider tells us, it may not of been Spain or Greece, but it was a trip to remember.
A lesson to everyone out there – you do not need to go far to enjoy yourself!
One of the many gripes of a film photographer is how difficult it is to take the perfect indoor shot -- it's either over or underexposed. You've tweaked the settings too many a time and it still doesn't work. So here's David Hancock on his own tips for shooting indoors with film.
Once the street photographer sets his foot outdoors, it's like being unleashed to the wilderness -- the concrete jungle. For the neophyte, it's going to be an overwhelming experience, and the best way to deal with it is to pick out the best companion, the Lomography Konstruktor.
First of all, I really appreciate being able to join the TEN AND ONE Residency Week in Vienna along with super cool Lomographers! We could never have any forgettable memories. The members are 11 people from 10 countries. I thought it'd be difficult to communicate with each other because of our different cultures, languages, personalities, etc. But we didn't have any worries. We respected each other, above all we are Lomographers!
I have come back after a week of my TEN AND ONE Artistic Residency at Lomography HQ in Vienna with my head full of ideas and projects that I would like to start and try out. By the end of the week I have a book (almost) full of tips, anecdotes and pure Lomographic love.

From Italy to Berlin, Chile to Iran, more photographers than ever before are picking up our popular Petzval Art Lens to shoot their best portraits. Check out this selection of gorgeous Petzval pictures from around the world!
It's not just the misguided and lonesome artists who are obsessed with cats -- the Internet is as crazy with them, too. An artist decided to improve some of pop music history's best covers by replacing the original musicians and models with cats.
Even today, the West is still hung up and mystified with Russia's Soviet past. The Eurasian country is also one of the most talked about in terms of international politics, and more often than not being misrepresented by Western media. This was Russian daily life.
It's been over a month since I left Vienna after spending a fantastic week with all the 2016 TEN AND ONE winners. Looking back at the photos I captured brings a smile to my face as I remember the fun memories of the experience I had with my fellow Lomographers.
The future is analogue, and it's even more creative and better as it blurs the fine lines of mixed medium. Amsterdam-based artist and photographer Daniëlle Van Ark's oeuvre is one-of-a-kind hybrid of mediums that will take anyone's breath away.
