Tropical Flowers and Plants Garden (Jinghong City, China)

1

My advice is not to miss this attraction in case you have a free time in Jinghong.

My advice is not to miss this attraction in case you have a free time in Jinghong. Grab a cold beer that is cheaper then water here and walk around a big area, stuffed with over 1000 types of plants that grow both on soil and in water. It is a theme botanical garden and includes areas for plant research, technology items, and sidewalks to enjoy the nature.

Schedule about 3 hours (or maybe a bit more if you really going to inspect every tree on the road). It’s easy to get there by foot (especially if you stay in Banna College hotel – Banna Xueyuan located on Xuanwei Dadao) or taking a cab – a taxi everywhere in town should cost 5 RMB.

    Photographic Pairs

When a photographer encounters a pair, an instinct rushes in, "Is this a special, intimate moment I just stumbled on?" Or else, those accidents of two objects, two birds, two swaying plants camping together especially for your photo. This might not be the case, but it's still a pleasant thing for patterns and quirks to find their way into an everyday shot.

Lomography Day Trips: Hangzhou, Zheijang, China

Located in the Zhejiang province, Hangzhou is known as one of the most beautiful cities in China. I went there following my aunt’s advice. She studied calligraphy in Hangzhou Arts University (杭州美术大学) and told me, "When I sat by the lake, I just understood Chinese painters. They painted what they see, not less."

What do you do when you don't have much time in a city like New York but you want to see everything, feel the vibe and be part of the community, even for a short time? Jump on a bike and enjoy what trains, buses and cabs can never give you: be part of the city. Take a camera with you to capture the moments and sights you don't want to forget. LomoLocations: Tokyo, Japan

Common advice tells us that Tokyo is best experienced at night. The neon lights of Ginza come on, Shibuya Crossing gets crammed, Ropponggi lets loose. Reverse the advice and we’ll get something like a palate cleanser. The Imperial Palace, Shinjuku Gyoen and small parks peppered around the city offer relief, from morning until late afternoon. Even ordinary streets appeal to tourists. We suspect those secret ramen spots add to the charm.

LomoLocations: The Duality of Osaka in Agfa Precisa CT

The touristic appeal of Japan lies not only in its castles and flower storms, but also in the mix of unique practices and Occidental influences. The duality is evident in Tokyo and even in Osaka, which has gained more visitors over the years. A port city, Osaka has retained its 'merchant' status with a battery of retail shops amid an area of cultural interest.
