The London Art Fair is an annual event that features art in different forms. This year, the 5-day event will showcase photography, sculptures and art installations from various artists and galleries across the world. Find out more after the break.
The London Art Fair 2012 will feature over a hundred galleries carrying works of British artists who have made their mark in the art world. Not only that, works of emerging artists will also be featured for everyone to see. 2012 is the 24th year of the London Art Fair and some of the highlights will include art projects and installations, photography exhibitions, talks from various experts in the field of art and more. London, England—The Victoria & Albert Museum announced preparations for 'You Say You Want a Revolution?', a five-month event featuring art, photography, fashion and music that made London the Swinging City of the 60s.
The best of both worlds from analogue and digital give birth to outstanding and more unique works of art. Through simulations done with prints and pixels, artist Drew Nikonowicz managed to visualize the full world of art and photography.

"Finding Katherine April" is an ongoing photographic installation project by Katherine April, which has her dispersing prints of her self-portraits across Cambridge City Center. With a couple of months already passing since the launch, Lomography speaks with the Cambridge and London-based visual artist and writer about the idea behind her project, as well as the public reception and her personal reflections towards it.
Lomographers around the world: submit your photographs to the 6th Annual Holga & Friends Out of the Box (On Creativity That Is!) International Photography Competition, judged by New York City photographer Harvey Stein. The winners will be included in a gallery show, Best in Show earning $500!

London based photographer Cat Stevens uses the softer, more subtle aesthetics of film photography throughout her work. Her shoots consist of the familiar light leaks and washed out tones that most film shooters will be familiar with. She has photographed artists such as Deerhunter, PJ Harvey and recently took a series of sun drenched beach shots which adorned The Charlatans' last album cover titled "Modern Nature."
In order to escape the world of facts and figures, tax auditor Martin Dietrich discovered photography as his creative counterpart almost seven years ago. On a trip to Paris he fell in love with analog photography and the magic of film has been fascinating to him since then. But he also appreciates the benefits of digital photography.
