Varying from patterned, plain, or carved, Shio Kusaka‘s vessels have a recurring motif, including squares, stripes, grids, and dots, and are usually in white, pink, green, blue, and black colors. Kusaka’s porcelain pots may be minimalistic and universal but they exude uniqueness in the sense that no two vessels are alike. Take a look at some of them below:
This is Kusaka’s first solo exhibition with Blum & Poe Gallery in Los Angeles and her works will be on display from January 7th through February 11th, 2012.
