Saturday the 7th of January was a bright sunny day, perfect for enthusiastic Lomographers to create their movie on our LomoKino! We handed out the kinos and settled in for a brief workshop which explained all the different details of the camera. We also traded tips and tricks to create the best movies we could! After that we headed to Madison Square Park to create some fun movies. The park was crowded with plenty of locals, tourists, dogs and squirrels! We took our time framing our shots and experimented with different lighting. Overall the Lomographers left confident in taking movies on their own, they were Lomo film makers now!
Our lovely TEN AND ONE Resident Claudia Sajeva (@-dakota-) spent her week in Vienna testing out the Lomo'Instant Square, and decided to make things a little more ambient with her perfect square portraits.
As of August 19th, we will no longer have an in-store film drop-off-service at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC. You can still send your rolls in for development with us through our LomoLab Online Service in our online shop.
"The White Girl" is a movie co-directed by Jenny Suen and veteran cinematographer Christopher Doyle. We got the chance to talk to Jenny about the movie and Christopher also shared some film photos of the main lead Angela, taken with the LC-Wide, Fisheye and the Lomokino cameras.
The Lomo'Instant Square's been busy making creative shock waves across four different continents! Get in all the square hype and have a cheeky lil peek at these freshly squeezed square shots by Lomographers themselves…
For the wandering Lomographer, we've got some alternative locations and destinations you might want to check out for picture-perfect travelogues. If you're dreaming of being in the French movies, you'd definitely want to visit Square Louise Michel.
