My 2011 in Analogue: Vivere Disce, Cogita Mori

Learn to live; Remember death. This would properly summarize my 2011. Making new friends, enjoying the family life, and remembering my Grandma.

Lomowalks: Approximately 15
Friends made: A lot!
Memories: Priceless!

Earlier in 2011 I met a few lomographers on some guy’s garage sale. We got to talk and decided to form a Facebook group to make it easy to organize lomowalks and other events. My 2011 would have been just another year if not for these guys.

We organized walks, exhibits, tutorials, and picnics. Looking forward for what’s in store for 2012.

My daughter turned 2 this 2011. With that, I had a very easy time asking her to pose for me without her wandering about. This year she will be attending preschool, which makes me excited as another chapter of our lives begins.

If I would pick my most memorable photo of 2011 it would be this picture of my grandmother. This was taken with my grandfather’s TLR and was also the last photo I took of her. Saying goodbye to such a wonderful and kind soul was very hard. You will always be remembered, we love you.

So from my family to yours:
