Scanning a Film Stripe

2012-01-19 3

For a bunch of reasons you need this tip. You can use it for scanning your Sprocket Rocket shots, your Lomo panoramic shots or just a stripe. Learn how to do it after the break.

I used one Epson scanner, one roll of exposed Fuji Sensia and then cross-processed, of course, a laptop. The following video is providing all steps you need for getting a good scan.

You can use my settings or not. Now you can take advantage and use this tip for getting you panoramas, your sprocket rocket shots or just any regular film stripe, scanned.

Enjoy:

When a photographer encounters a pair, an instinct rushes in, "Is this a special, intimate moment I just stumbled on?" Or else, those accidents of two objects, two birds, two swaying plants camping together especially for your photo. This might not be the case, but it's still a pleasant thing for patterns and quirks to find their way into an everyday shot.
