Orchard Road is a road in Singapore. Along Orchard Road are landmark buildings and because of this, it is often associated as being a tourist attraction – aside from being the most popular shopping destination in the country.
Where is Orchard Road? Just ask any local or foreigners in Singapore, in fact, anyone will do, and they will know the answer. Orchard Road is such a famous road. Along Orchard Road houses all the landmark buildings such as Paragon, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City, Tangs, Tanglin Mall, ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura, Luckly Plaza, Forum the Shopping Mall, and the list goes on and go forever. Orchard Road is simply a shopping paradise. That’s why Orchard Road is a tourist attraction. It houses some of the most luxurious international labels such as Miu Miu, which is located in Paragon.
Apart from Orchard Road being a shopping paradise, it does have quite a number of street performers and this further enhanced Orchard Road’s reputation as a Tourist Attraction. Some of the street performers are interesting and some of them are not. I believe it’s up to individual preferences.
Occasionally, one will find a cart selling ice cream during the afternoon when the weather is rather hot. Prices are affordable and there are a few flavours to choose from.
During the day, Orchard Road is not that crowded. However this will change when nighttime approaches.
