On the way back from Bargeme (see other location) I discovered the village of Mons. It’s one of these charming little villages of the Provence. Let’s visit it! :)
Following the road down to the valley coming from Bargeme, we went through a beautiful village, a bit less higher than the previous one, but still on an impressing peak of 814m height! the whole village is surrounded by the ancient walls of a fortification and has preserved the charms and beauty of such old medieval places. The origins of the village goes back to the 10th century and has a nice church from the 12th century.
As it is located on a peak, the view over the area is impressive, as are the narrow streets where it is so pleasant to get lost and discover some new things at every corner. If you have a look at the top of the doors, you can see that there are some very old buildings and the whole place is very charming. And of course, if you went to spend a bit more time there, the nature around offers you plenty of possibilities to walk, explore and admire the beauty of this area.
A while back I had the unique chance to hang a little with Muhammad Yunus in Uganda. The professor from Bangladesh is no other than a Nobel Peace Prize Laureate for the implementation for micro credits and a shining icon of social business. Now he and his supporters are trying to make the world a better place, in real.
NYC based photographer Christopher Logan is well known for his unique way of capturing the fashion scene from around the globe on film. Teen Vogue once said his photos are "the coolest way to view Fashion Week". So we handed him our Neptune Art Lens System and let him do his thing. See for yourself.

They say art destroys lives, just the way Vincent Van Gogh met his demise. It's a stereotype that creativity happens at the expense of our sanity. It is the other way around. Art saves lives, and photography has saved much more in the modern world.
Last week, the TEN AND ONE winners flew in from all over the world to enjoy a week of workshops and exchange about their love for photography. I had the pleasure of spending a day with them and the Lomography staff, going on one of the famous LomoWalks.
