Make Your Own Lomo T-Shirt

Have you been eyeing on one of the Lomo t-shirts in the online shop, but don’t want to spend your hard-earned piggies on it? Why not make your own one? Read on to learn how to make a Lomo t-shirt.

You will need:

  • A plain white t-shirt
  • Shirt markers
  • A hair dryer
  • An object with a flat surface

The shirt markers can be found in any art shop near your neighbourhood. I bought them for RM5/US$ 1.60 each. I bought five colours, but only used black and red for my Lomo t-shirt.

Before you start doodling, put an object with a flat surface into the shirt so that the shirt will not move around when you are drawing and it will also prevent the ink of your marker from spoiling the other side of the shirt. And now, you are ready to draw! You can just draw anything you want, if you are a big fan of the Holga camera, draw it on your shirt. If you are not good at drawing, you can just simply write ‘I Love Lomography’ on your shirt. This is what I like about making my own Lomo t-shirt, I get to draw ANYTHING I desire!

After you are done, dry it with a hair dryer for five or six minutes to make sure it sticks permanently to your shirt. When it’s dried, your very own Lomo t-shirt is done!
