Lomography Cookie Cutters: Butter Cookie Recipe

2011-12-23 4

The end of the year is coming. Many festivities have began. Christmas songs can be heard everywhere. It’s time to give gifts to your loved ones. Don’t know what to give them? Here’s an idea!

Last month, our city just encountered a flood. Many families tried to move out from their homes. Many people still need to do a lot of cleaning in their houses. Money is important right now so if you need to give someone a gift, why not make them by yourself? It’s cheaper. Cookies are not hard to make. Who would think that cookies can become a great gift? Butter cookies is my suggestion. Here is the recipe:

  • Butter – 300 g.
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Mix all the ingredients together. Make it equally thick and use any shape of cookie cutter. I suggest using the cookie cutter’s from Lomography so that you can make cookies out of different Lomography cameras. Push, push, push! After that, place it in the oven to bake. Wait for the cookies to cool and then you can make colorful sugar frosting that will add texture to your camera cookies!

Prepare fondant in any color that you want and use the Lomography cookie cutters to cut them into shape. Here are ones shaped like the LC+A+ White Edition and Spinner 360.

Now you get to give out mini Lomography cameras for Christmas. Surely, everyone will be happy to receive this tasty treat!

Special thanks for beautiful photos and for the cookie recipe to Whitepockie.
