Natalie Fong, aka natalieerachel, hails from Honolulu, Hawaii and is one of Lomography Magazine’s new regular writers. Know more about her upcoming series, featuring her creative creations, after the break.
Natalie sees herself as an artist of sorts: she loves all types of art be it drawing, painting, making music, baking, filming, and of course, photography. She also enjoys writing and sharing her thoughts with people, and from what she has experienced, “Lomography is the most accepting and loving community that anyone could ask for.” Now that Lomography is a part of her life, Natalie wants to share and give back with what she has: her art.
Her new series will be under the Tipster section of the Magazine. She will be pumping out new ideas for the Lomographic community at least once a month. “But if there are any special holidays, I might just add in an extra one or two,” adds Natalie.
“I chose this theme of recreating old into new because it’s what I constantly do at home. I don’t have the money to buy everything I want or need, which I am sure is the case for other people as well. Making art is also something that I love to do as much as I possibly can. And like I said before, I just want to give other people the chance to participate in something that I enjoy and hopefully they will too.
All I want is for all of you to use these ideas and have fun with it! Here are a few hints for the upcoming articles from the Creative Corner:"
The international Magazine team of Lomography is currently looking for dedicated writers who are interested in contributing articles (to any section) on a regular basis. Eager and interested? Read this call-out article and we’ll be waiting for your emails!
