We are still looking for some german content (especially locations); this is why I will continue in german!
If you are looking for some lomographic entertainment this month in your home city or if you are traveling the world and want some insider tips from our lomography teams, here’s a selection of what is going on in Lomography Gallery and Embassy Stores around the world.
With an expanded field of view and its ability to produce high quality images and capture minute detail, medium format photography has become the top choice of many photographers. Lomography is working hard to make sure that it keeps going with the continued production of medium format film and cameras. The current issue of German magazine FOTO HITS focuses on medium format photography. And with this rumble, we want to prove why medium format photography is king. Take your Diana F+, Holga 120, Lubitel 166+ or the new Lomo LC-A 120 and show us your best square shots!
There are many components that transform street photography shots into masterpieces. Besides the people, unexpected details or unique situations, perspective is a powerful tool that can change common buildings into urban wonders. We picked some excellent examples from the German community as inspiration for your next LomoWalk. May you see the city in a new way!
Walk along the sandy shore, take a dip and splash around, and celebrate summer with the Lomo'Instant San Sebastián! Inspired by the Spanish surf town, this nifty newest edition of the Lomo'Instant is perfect to capture your colorful instant summer snaps!
When a photographer encounters a pair, an instinct rushes in, "Is this a special, intimate moment I just stumbled on?" Or else, those accidents of two objects, two birds, two swaying plants camping together especially for your photo. This might not be the case, but it's still a pleasant thing for patterns and quirks to find their way into an everyday shot.
You can tell a lot about a person just by looking through the contents of his/her bag. But we don't recommend rummaging through someone's bag for this reason! Luckily, some photographers granted us access for our WIYB series. Here's a peek into LA-based photographer Rozette Rago's gear.
Today we want to make sure that you've got the film you need to take picture perfect holiday photos, so our Lomography films are three-for-two! Whether you're looking to create classic winter portraits or snap some great, snowy panoramas, today's Advent special will help you ensure you're prepared to capture it all!

It's Tipstember! For this month, we will be awarding 25 fat piggies to every tipster article that gets published on the Lomography Magazine. You can share tips on composition, lighting, film experiments and camera modifications; or maybe techniques for shooting portraits, landscapes, still life and even wildlife! If you don't have tricks up your sleeve, however, you can still contribute to the Magazine and let your voice be heard. Here are some suggestions.
This article is dedicated to the British photojournalist and sport photographer Dennis Oulds, and to one of my favorite home games, Subbuteo Table Football. Here are some photos I took during a local tournament in Como. Take a look!
Colors may be amped to look unreal, like nothing of this world. Shots may be doubled, cross-processed, post-processed, mixed up into collages. The possibilities are infinite, yet some photographers still prefer black and white. Even in 2016, it is an ode to classic values of precision and balance. Light and shadow must be one pleasing dance. And just like in a well-choreographed piece, forms are obvious or playing coy. It all depends on how you're looking.
Named for the Italian city situated in the Lombardy region, overflowing with art and culture, say hello to the colorful aesthetics of the new Lomo'Instant Milano, the latest member of the Lomo'Instant family!
I like to make and use masks with my Lomo'Instant camera, but sometimes they are too dominant. In coming up with more subtle masks, I found several that produced an interesting, distressed look, especially when paired with the camera flash and color gel strips. They're especially good for creating Halloween-themed photos.
We are looking for "Lomo Correspondents" from different cities in the UK to help spread the word about film photography and get involved in an exciting project for 2016. If you want to get involved read on.
Earlier this summer, in partnership with the Meural, Lomography NYC called for submissions to a rumble inspired by the German word sehnsucht. We are pleased to announce the photographs that were selected to be shown in our gallery and on the Meural platform, along with the grand prize winner!
