Last Saturday we where in Bucharest, at Saint Ink Studio to “Have a Lomographic Experience”. We tried Lomography cameras, chatted, saw some movies on how to be lomographers. It was awesome! Here are some pics and thoughts about the event.
Ok. I was so excited about this event, not just because it was the first photography workshop I’d attended, I was excited because it was one of a few Lomography events organized in my country. Perhaps the first major workshop.
Nevertheless, it was awesome! lomographers came, had a great time, socialized, tried our favorite cameras, and signed in for the contest. We had to choose one of the three cameras: La Sardina Czar, Sprocket Rocket, and Fisheye No.2, and a day in which we could borrow it and shoot a roll of film. The theme was “urban life”. The competition ran until 13th of December. The three cameras were presented and then handed to the spectators for analyzing and then loaded with a roll of film. We played for about an hour, taking pictures of each other.
I think this event had a lot of appeal, we can’t wait for the next one. Thank you Saint Ink Studio and the organizers!
