One Man and His Shop: Behind the Scenes at Lomography Gallery Store Manchester

2

Next week will see the opening of our first ever Gallery Store outside of London. Our team of elves in Manchester are hard at work turning an empty shell into a centre of Lomographic paradise, see what they’ve been up to here!

This is David. David is a nice man. But right now he is a very stressed man. He is the man in charge of turning this empty cave into the hottest spot in Manchester. And he hates boiler suits.

Piece by piece lovely surprises are arriving from LomoLand in Vienna, including LomoWall panels made up of thousands of your shots, ready for David to arrange artfully on the walls to be unveiled at the launch party on Thursday 15th December.

Still, no matter how busy David is, he still has time to whip out his LC-A+ and snap a photo of a man wearing an animal head in a used car garage.

The deliveries are coming in thick and fast now, with shop fittings, decorations, and of course a big drop of Lomography goodies, so that next week you can all finish off your Christmas shopping!

We wouldn’t really leave David all on his own to do all this. He does have a friend. It’s a shame he made him stand in a bin though…

Launch Party Thursday 15th December, from 6pm
