The Hell With Perfection — Freedom for Photography!

Create a Movie Using the Supersampler

8

When Lomography launched the LomoKino, I was excited to see what the camera could do. I saw a lot of movies made with it and I got an idea. The LomoKino makes stop-motion movies and I thought about using my Supersampler to create my movie!

I’m a fan of multiple lens cameras because I love to see how it captures movement. From that thought, I though of creating a mini movie for myself. But a mini movie is super short and can only produce about a second of movement from some frames. After LomoKino launched, I learned that you can make your own movies using a 35mm film. I saw that there’snot much difference with the Supersampler.

I decided to crop some of my pictures from my Supersampler and made a movie from it. Here are the photos that I cropped one by one:

And here’s the movie:

I used iPhoto to crop the images and iMovie to edit. You can try this with other multiple lens cameras like the Oktomat and the Actionsampler.

The SuperSampler, the queen of multilensed cameras, is now in white. It takes four sequential panoramic shots on a single, action-packed 35mm photo. See all SuperSampler colours and designs in our Shop!
