How we Spun Out with the Spinner by the Tate Modern Museum in London

We came, we learned, we spun! We thought we’d hit two birds with one stone in this workshop – thats to take the Spinner 360 for a spin by the river Thames and also visit the Tate Modern museum to check out the Tacita Dean exhibition aptly called “FILM”. What a fun fun fun day!

After a brief introduction to the amazing Spinner 360 camera in store, we grabbed a hold of them and ventured out into a surprisingly bright and sunny Sunday afternoon in late November.

To make the most of the crisp clear day we headed up to the top of One New Change where you get a fantastic view across St Paul’s Cathedral; from the London Eye to the Shard. There were group shots, vertical spins and even some enthusiastic pigeon chasing pics being taken up in the sunshine.

Once we’d enjoyed the sights enough we headed down to cross the Millennium bridge over to Tate Modern. In the shadow of the great turbine hall it suddenly became very cold so we quickly finished off our films and headed inside to see the new exhibition by Tacita Dean and grab a hot drink to warm up.

Warmed up and ready to face the cold again, we started traveling back to the shop, having made the most of a beautiful sunny day.
