Lomography Gallery Store Soho had its first ever LomoKino workshop at The Social with a cocktail making master class led by expert Dre Masso. If you read on, you’ll see how a little splash of cocktail making and a big glug of Kino Movie Action can result in a big jug of workshop fun!
The excitement was literally bursting out of the shop when we held our first LomoKino workshop. We all loaded some lovely Lomography 400 colour film and got ready for some action! There may only have been 5 of us but we certainly made an impression on the London crowds as we sent our flashes flashing on the unsuspecting public. There were quite a few heads turning and we were stopped several times and asked “what are those cool looking cameras?”
When we arrived at The Social, where we were greeted by Dre Masso; with 20 years in the cocktail industry, he taught us everything we needed to know about whisky chasers and how to make the perfect Bloody Mary.
We captured the experts in action, from pouring to shaking to serving, we even got the chance to try a few cocktails ourselves.
By the time we headed down to the basement to watch some live music we all had a glow in our cheeks and a grin on our faces. Proof that cocktails and Kinos are the perfect mix.
