Creatures of the Night

Do you like taking photos underwater? Here is a quickie tipster that I have for you if you want to take pictures underwater without the sun.

I love underwater photos, they are fun and full of life and colour. But what happens if we exchange the turquoises, the marshy greens and the infinitely deep blues of underwater photos with a deep black? That’s what I wanted to find out this summer. I turned off the pool lights and my “assistant” and I submerged ourselves underwater with a camera, the flash, my colored gels and a roll of slide film.

I really liked the results. the raw colors are different. We look like little creatures of the night.

The new Lomography X-Pro Slide 35mm film is made from the original Agfa RSX 200 emulsion. If you want whacked out colours, huge contrast, and insane saturation, this film is for you. See our selection of Lomography films here.
