It’s time to bid a temporary adieu to OSCM for now!
It’s time to close the curtain on OSCM (Online Shop Cover Marketing), at least for the moment! To tell you the truth, we have to do this against our will. The OSCM function is heavily linked with codes and scripts and more codes and java and other such programming stuff to our old site (R.I.P). As we are moving ahead we need to say goodbye to the old and welcome the new and with this we have some good news: We will spend the next couple of months working on a brand new online shop – (exciting!) and with it a brand new OSCM function!
We know that something new coming in the future is no consolation for the present. But it’s not all bad news as you can still share your love of your favorite cameras and films by submitting reviews! If you are feeling extra creative, you can share your tips at our newest magazine section tipster and if none of these work out for you you can always write in our blog.
So the next question that you will ask most probably is: what if I only want to write something short and not a whole review? Or maybe you would like to review something other than a camera or a film? Well friends, we got some new things rolling out of our online labs… Interested to know more? Well keep checking back as if you do we guarantee that you will be the first to know!

We are very pleased to have Dimitri Beck as a jury of our TEN AND ONE AWARDS. Dimitri Beck is the director of photography for Polka. We asked him questions about his work, photography and some defining moments. "Photography is of public utility" he says !
For a long time, the Silk Road was the channel which connected Europe, Asia, and Africa during the ancient times. Now, photographer Stefano Majno shows us what the Silk Road looks like now – in the 21st century.
Everyone’s always telling you to shoot with the light source behind you, to position your subject in front of a strong glow in order to emphasize texture and form. Now’s the time to defy that rule completely. Swivel round 180 degrees and tackle that light source head on cos’ it's time to start snapping some seriously insane Silhouettes with the LC-A 120!
We've finally nailed down the basic colors from primary to secondary; now it's time to study other colors, hybrids, and palettes that make this world more complex and non-binary. With cinematic glasses, we tend to look at life like a movie. The reel rolls into a palette of silvery grayscale.
We've finally nailed down the basic colors from primary to secondary; now it's time to study other colors, hybrids, and palettes that make this world more complex and non-binary. The winter does not just bring the cold, but also the sudden surrealness of a snow-ridden wonderland.
We've finally nailed down the basic colors from primary to secondary; now it's time to study other colors, hybrids, and palettes that make this world more complex and non-binary. We run in gradients, and some mixes are just exclusive enough to distinguish, like a Christmassy palette.
From the 19th century to today, the concept of 'family' has changed over time -- from families born into ones, to the ones we have chosen for ourselves. Photographers then and now have found the basic unit of society an interesting, continuous study.
