Steven Tyler, frontman of rock group Aerosmith was arrested in May 1967 (he was 18/19 years old) in Yonkers, New York for possession of Marijuana.
Mick Jagger, lead singer of The Rolling Stones poses in this photo after being arrested in 1967 at fellow Rolling Stones member Keith Richards’ home for narcotics charge. Jagger, 23 years old at that time, spent a few nights in jail before he was able to make bail.
The Sex Pistols bassist, Sid Vicious was arrested in October 1978, charged for the murder of his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. The couple, known for frequently overdosing on heroin was inside their Hotel Chelsea room, waking up from a drug stupor, Sid found Nancy on the bathroom floor with a stab wound on her abdomen. Sid committed suicide the following year.
William Bruce Rose or more popularly known as Axl Rose got arrested in 1980 for petty larceny. The future to-be lead vocalist of Guns N’ Roses was 18 years old in this photo.
Ozzy Osbourne, whose real name is John Michael Osbourne poses in this mugshot after being arrested in Memphic, May 1984 for public intoxication. Ozzy is the lead singer of the English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, who’s popularly known as pioneers of the genre.
Kurt Cobain, lead singer and guitarist of grunge band Nirvana was arrested in Aberdeen, May 1986 and was charged with trespassing while intoxicated. According to police records, he was also arrested a year earlier for vandalism.
