With autumn nights coming sooner in the day, the Lomography Gallery Store LA taught local Lomographers an essential photo technique for cool photos even in the darkest situations: Light Painting!!
Golden Rule of Lomography No. 2: Shoot anytime, day or night.
We really took Golden Rule No. 2. seriously at the Lomography Gallery Store LA. Believe it or not, the sun DOES go down every night in Los Angeles, so we all picked up a camera with a bulb setting, a couple flashes and lights, and began painting away!
LAmographers got their hands on the La Sardina this time around. Its incredible wide-angle lens was helpful in capturing all the ambient light in the workshop space and on Santa Monica Blvd! The possibilities were endless as we all tried using Diana Flashes, Fritz the Blitz with its many color gels, and even this great tipster by Lomographer icuresick!!!
This was definitely one fun workshop. See what our attendees drew up in the photos bellow!
