On Sunday at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC Gramercy we held one of our favorite workshops, Diana Dialogues! What an amazing analog tool!
We had a room full of anxious participants who had recently purchased a Diana F+ camera. We started with the basics and got into the advanced ins and outs of the awesome analog power of the Diana. From pinhole to panoramic it was a blast! After our lesson we headed to New York’s famous Madison Square Park and a street fair on close by Broadway Avenue. Check out a few of the moments we captured.
Lomography Gallery Store Soho hosted a new exhibition of analogue photographs by Charlie Phillips entitled 'London is the Place for Me'. We also held a Meet the Artist evening, inviting questions from the attendees to gain a better understanding and hear the back stories behind the work on display.
The TEN AND ONE Residency Week has been very intense and full of activities. From 11 to 18 November, we did LomoWalks around Vienna, guided visits to museums and magazine editorial office, a workshop, a trip to Bratislava, worked on our LomoWall and of course LomoLunch and LomoDinner. We had the opportunity to attend a Cyanotype Workshop at Lomography Head Quarter held by Michael Wuermer, a young and nice photographer and printer.
Isabella Craun is a 13-year old photographer, who was part of the Diana Project held by our friends from Brannigan and Follen Photo Haus in Cleveland. She came by our Gallery Store to chat about her first impressions on film photography with the Diana F+.
As of August 19th, we will no longer have an in-store film drop-off-service at the Lomography Gallery Store NYC. You can still send your rolls in for development with us through our LomoLab Online Service in our online shop.
