Lomography La Sardina camera is on the front cover of American Photo magazine Gear of the year November-December issue. American Photo suggests analog for Christmas.
I just got my American Photo magazine and was really surprised to see the La Sardina on the front cover of the “Gear Of the Year” Issue. As soon as I saw this cover I went straight to the article on page 66. Four of the La Sardinas are pictured, full page, one with Fritz the Blitz flash attached. I have been lustful about these cameras ever since Lomography started the first hint and tease. On the opening page of the 2011 Gift Guide, AP says La Sardina is “the gift that keeps on clicking,” and to “Buy It.”
Also featured in this magazine is a nice article on John Maloof’s 2007 discovery of Vivian Maier, and the newest photography books to hit the book shops. I really like this American Photo magazine and I especially like that they show an interest in one of my favorite things, Lomography.
