Lomography Redscale XR 50-200 is a redscale film with a retro feel!
First, I must say that I don’t like redscale photos that are just red, like a lot — so I took the “Lomography Redscale XR 50-200”: http://shop.lomography.com/lomography-redscale-xr-50-200 3-pack-of-fetched.
For my desired result, I have asked my Canonet 28 to ISO 50 and started to take pictures.
The results became what I was hoping for, just great.
The results show beautiful shades of red—not only one red, but tones that go from red, to orange, to yellow. The sky often times has a green tint.
I had the feeling that the photos could have been done even a few decades ago. The great thing about a redscale film is that you can expose it for a very long time and still get cool results. In addition, you can also work in the sunshine with open aperture, so I will also sometimes try to use ISO 25 or less. Next, I’m going to try the XR in medium format.
The Lomography Redscale XR 50-200 35mm gives you full control over your redscale images. With its extended ISO range, you can pick an effect that you want and set the ISO accordingly. Your images will exude a lovely retro feel. See our selection of Lomography films here.
