Halloween is right around the corner, but we can’t wait that long for treats! To help hold us over until then we’ll be having a chocolate themed Blue Hour. So stop by and indulge in some chocolate coated Lomography fun!
The Blue Hour is a weekly event for all Lomographers to enjoy some social refreshments and entertainment. Stop by the Gramercy Lomography Gallery Store each and every Thursday from 6pm and make some new friends! As you may know “The blue hour” comes from the French expression l’heure bleue, which refers to the time after the sun goes below the horizon and the sky goes into deep blue for a while. The time is considered special for photography, because of the quality of the light at this time of day. This event is always FREE! If you are a DJ, musician or performer and would like an opportunity to perform at Lomography’s Blue Hour please email your information to firstname.lastname@example.org
Community newcomer Lena may have taken a break from shooting film but the "Don't Think, Just Shoot" mindset of Lomography stays on her shooting style. In this interview, she shares how she found her way back to the analogue grind and a selection of her dreamy double exposure photographs.
“Around the World in Analogue” is your bite-size guide to the most amazing travel destinations across the globe, as documented by the members of the Lomography community. Today, lomographer @akio_nakai recalls his trip to Toyama, Japan to film a commercial.
Fine artist Olivia Locher is no stranger to the joys of Lomography cameras; in fact, they were dear to her heart from the very beginning of her photography days, perhaps contributing to the development of her playful, dreamy style. Now, she tests the Lomo'Instant Automat with delightful results.
