Lomography Oktomat

Lomography’s Oktomat gives you 8 times the fun! With one push of the button you can get 8 photos!

The Oktomat gives you 8 glorious photos with the push of only 1 button and in only 2.5 seconds!

This is another great camera that gives you so many options; you’ll never get bored of the Oktomat!

There are several ways to use the Oktomat. Unfortunately, I have not yet tried them all so if you do, please let me know how it goes. Hold the camera up, down, sideways, on an angle, however you want, just hold it still. Now, push the button.

How your pictures turn out will depend on what it was you were taking pictures of.

If the subject was still, you should have 8 almost identical photos. This makes the Oktomat a great camera for group shots — when you get them developed, you can just cut them up and pass them out to everybody in the picture!

If your subject was moving, you have just caught all the action in one shot!

Now, do the same as before. Get your camera ready, but this time, instead of holding it still, move the camera around, or move with the camera.

Do it in a wave pattern (up and down, up and down, or in and out, in and out). Try doing this fast and a little slower. Just remember, you only have 2.5 seconds.

Hold it by the wrist strap and swing it around! But, remember to be careful: don’t swing it too hard, you wouldn’t want it to slip away and go flying in the air (…or would you?).

You can also hold it still and spin in a circle, sit in a moving car, or on a bicycle, or run down the street with it…

Wait and watch as the picture tells a story when you get it developed!

And sometimes the Oktomat catches the action so fast it leaves everything up to your imagination.

Overall, the Oktomat is a great story teller!

P.S. This camera is also amazing for making mini movies!

The Oktomat serves up your subject in cleanly sliced 8 little frames. Envision yourself as a movie director with only 2.5 seconds to relate your micro-masterpiece. Get your own Oktomat now!
