Bubble tea: Tasty Taiwan Tea, Parisian style

Whatever you want to indulge in, Paris always has something new for you, ranging from fragrance, color or taste. Bubble tea is a pearl of flavor (sometimes also with pearls inside). It’s a combination of Parisian coolness while walking the streets and sucking on this beverage for an awesome experience.

Paris is the perfect place to discover different flavors and through our “mouth”, travel throughout the world. Prepared for a trip to Taiwan by “tasting” some bubble tea?

Bubble tea consists of pearl milk tea and other similar teas and juice beverages that originated in teashops in Taichung City in Taiwan. The recipes may vary, but most bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit (or fruit syrup) and/or milk. One of the most famous categories of bubble teas (actually our favorite, hmm, hmm) is the “pearl milk tea” (also, known as “boba milk tea”), which contains small chewy balls made of tapioca starch.

But where in Paris can one get some bubble tea? It is possible to find some places all over the city, as in the Japanese quarter (metro Pyramides, Opéra et Quatre Septembre), in the Chinatown on the 13eme arrondissement (metro Place de Italie, Tolbiac), and in Belleville (metro Belleville).

Here are some addresses:
ZenZoo: 13 rue Chabanais, 75002 Paris
ZenZoo Prunier: 41 rue Coquillière, 75001 Paris
Pâtisserie Saisons: 65 avenue d’Ivry, 75013 Paris
Bubble House: 45 rue de Choisy, 75013 Paris
Bubble House: 36 rue Mouffetard, 75005 Paris

The problem lies in which one to chose.
Hot or cold, with or without milk, with green tea or black tea and which fruit flavor (mango, passion fruit, lemon, melon, raspberry, apple…there are so many flavors that it will be difficult to decide!).

Our favorite bubble tea is cold, without milk, with green tea, and lemon and lots of tapioca. ;)
