Lomography Canada has teamed up with OTM Zine to bring you an (ad)venture we are thrilled to announce! The Lomography Gallery Store on Queen West, will be curating a photography exhibit, devoted to celebrating Toronto: the city we love, work and live in from October 13th
DEPICT: T.O. will feature seven analogue photographers: Michael Raymond Clarke, Othello Grey, Steph Martyniuk, Jalani Morgan, Patrick Moore, Matthew Tammaro and Gemma Warren (all OTM alumni) as they visually capture their personal relationship with Toronto through the lens of a Lomography camera.
OTM has encouraged each photographer to offer us new perspectives and challenge our conventional depictions of Toronto. The only restriction: refrain from telling us if they break any laws in the process.
From now until the show opening in October, we will be releasing online interviews with each photographer, chronicling their creative process and past analogue work that Lomography will be hosting online as a special series in their Analogue Lifestyle section.
We look forward to unveiling the incredible works that each will create. Join us in celebrating the city of Toronto and a handful of its talented photographers.
The Exhibition will have a grand launch party on October 13th 2011
