Fisheye Rumble in the Pond Chapter 23: The Lomographic Surprise

You too can be a sunny-boy (or girl) like Shankar!

Sunglasses and a Fisheye camera in the sun are simply the biz to protect and indulge your eyes at the same time. Just like you, the Fisheye loves the sun.

When using regular color film, it’s important to note that you’ll achieve super results when shooting in bright sunlight. Colors, saturation, and contrast will be intense. Use a 100 ISO film for bright sunlight and 200 or 400 ISO for cloudy weather. Shoot right into the bright sunlight to achieve cool sun illuminations on your image or use the internal flash as a fill to avoid your subject from becoming a silhouette.

“Rumble in the Pond” is a 368-page hardcover book bursting with 170-degree Fisheye madness. Inside your will find exclusive tips and tricks, Lomographer profiles & interviews, an informative history of Fisheye lenses and goldfish breeding, and several hundred eye-popping barrel-distorted fisheye images.
