This is one way to do an interesting portrait with an Actionsampler Flash. It’s very easy. Just follow these simple steps. Check it out!
After playing with my many shots using an Actionsampler Flash, I found an alternative that will always give you good and funny results.
It is just a simple Idea : “Shake your head”
Step #1 Look for someone.
Step #2 Get close enough to do a close-up of his face.
Step #3 Tell him to shake his head as much as he can.
Step #4 Press the trigger and shoot!
Shake it and enjoy!

A flash here, a flicker there. An afterimage is an optical illusion and reoccurring phenomenon resulting from a brief exposure to a bright light source, such as a camera flash. What's even more fascinating than experiencing this illusion is discovering that your camera is able to mimic its effect! I finished my copa tour last year in Marajó, the island of bulls—it just might be an eternal highlight for me.

It's super easy and fun, and it only requires a dark room, a friend or two to collaborate with, a camera with long exposure mode and a light painting tool to get started. Check out 50 of the most vibrant light painting photos taken by your fellow Lomographers after the cut!
