    shared by alcastan on 2014-04-12

my home town can not be considered as a beautilfull one. Wanted to shot more colorfull with using a gradient first shot on the roll. some funny result but sometimes to much color. next time less yellow is required!!

The 4th and final roll from my excursion to the small carnival on the west side of Tulsa, OKlahoma with my friend @forceusr this past weekend. This roll was a bit over exposed but I was pretty much guessing the exposures for everything anyway. When you shoot this kind of thing, the light can be very intense or not at all so it's really hard to meter or tell what will work.

And it was super cold and our French was trés tragiqué but the Poutine was magnifique and I thought I had shot only one roll? I was wrong. I just found these. Not the greatest as the light was awful but oh well. I'm slowly coming back here...

  • 2014 Misty day in Germany (DIANA MINI)

    shared by yerzmyey on 2014-04-14

So, my first real lomo-walk this year. I've been in Germany, in Mahlerts. It has very nice landscapes however the Spring was still early and the day was misty - which You can notice on the photos. But if all photos in the world would have been taken in full sun - it might be a bit boring, don't You think? ;) The used film - was typical for me Kodak ColorPlus 200. Anyway I took my beloved Diana Mini. It doesn't feel too well lately and it has problems with moving the film forward when the format is set to 'rectangle' mode. So this time I wanted - for the first time - to test the 'square' photo-mode of Diana Mini (as it should actually work, basing on the 60s Dianas :) ). On the other hand, I noticed - while watching photos of ppl on www.lomography.com - that square photos from such machines like Diana Baby or Holga - or the 'big' Dianas of course - are somehow much more interesting. So it was another reason I decided to switch into 'square' mode with my Diana Mini - and I intend stick with it since now. I do hope You like those 'early & misty Spring' shots. Greetz, Yerz

… a mixture of sherry, 80% alcohol, green tea and hydrogen peroxid. the mixture was pretty hard so after getting the film off after one week the part outside of canister was destroyed so you could simply ripp off the surface with a finger.

The sun was shining so bright this morning and for a moment there, I thought of summer. These shots were taken at Ava's birthday party for her 4th birthday last August. We had a pool party and thanks goodness that was the case because it was just so hot that day!
