when I was in Bangalore there was one thing I had to see for sure - a giant Shiva. Murugeshpalya is kind of a religious disneyland in the midddle of a mall. There is a plastic Mountain and a 65 feet Shiva. To reach him you have to go through a tunnelsystem with hindi displays and you ought to pass a giant ganesha and place a dozen coins in buckets. Big fun - great sight.
