I have been a photographer for most of my life, but have recently re-embraced using film. There is something awesome about not getting instant gratification. I bought a Fisheye One on a whim, and was instantly hooked. Since then, I couldn't resist the Mini Diana, the ActionSampler and the Diana F+. I also picked up my old Nikon again =) I look forward to immersing myself in analogue, and relearning what was so fun about picking up a camera.
My biggest influence would probably be Ed Ruscha. I have always believed that if you see the world the way he sees it, then nothing is ordinary or boring. Every Building on the Sunset Strip is my favorite photographic work of art--endless panorama before it was called such a thing.
