    The Rescued Film Project

The Rescued Film Project collects, develops and archives undeveloped or unwanted film from all over the world. Recently, the group acquired 31 rolls at an auction in Ohio, which, as it turns out, were from World War 1 and featured some amazing photographic footage of that time. Founder and film technician Levi Bettwieser talks about this exciting project.

No, it's not the exotic Far East city, it is the Shanghai GP3 medium format film. Pretty good film, I must say, despite my sloppy development that left the left half of each frame darker.....

  • Got clouds?

    shared by adash on 2013-01-25

Yep, I did. We had spectacular clouds that day, and I had an excellent opportunity to field-test my new green filter in a special 36mm push-on size for the Industar-22 collapsible lens of my Zorki. The film is not so long overdue, but has developed some interesting textures and defects at random spots. Not too unhappy with that fact though.

Pictures from my LomoWalk with cousin! Test roll of Zenit TTL. Cold day, about 21 degrees below 0. Ordinary winter in our city
