I'm a reportage and documentary photographer. You can find my work at www.stephenkerr. ca . My passion is to photograph the struggles of people to assert themselves, politically and socially. So I photograph demonstrations and confrontations with the police. I also love to take pictures of music makers, and I shoot and produce music videos. I'm also a writer - writing a book and working on a film project about the history of democracy - a story that if it were known, would send you into the streets with your flaming sword right now... I hope to live long enough to document the establishment of a worldwide, participatory democracy where the people rule themselves. I shoot film with a Rolleiflex 3.5 TLR, not a Nikon. I gave the Nikon to my mum for Christmas! I am trying to master the Zero image 612b pinhole camera, and other pinhole cameras besides.
