La Pobla de Lillet
After spending some time in the mountains at Ribes de Freser, we took a long car ride to the coast. On the way back and perhaps 30km from Ripoll we found the village of La Pobla de Lillet. It's a really charming place and because it's so out of the way it's not really used to having many foreign tourists. Even the lady in Tourist Information Centre seemed surprised to have two English people there and she didn't speak a word of English!
Fortunately Angela speaks very passable Catalan and I can speak just enough to order a meal and hold a very, very basic conversation!
