arriving just before dusk.

this was a bittersweet shot. we started our journey with a flight from jakarta to denpasar at 7 AM, hoping to arrive in mataram before lunchtime (which would be followed by a short boat trip to gili trawangan). little did we know the small flight to mataram would be subjected to an inhumane delay of 7 hours, which brought us to mataram at about 6.30 PM (and to gili trawangan at about 9 PM, yes, another delay at the jetty. just perfect.)
