Ever since I started my new job last year, my photo stream seems to be moving at a slower pace each day.. Though I may not have the time to shoot more frequently but I will still carry on with analogue photography.
Time seems to fly, I have actually being in this community since August 2009… Got to know so many friends over here, exchanging films for ‘Doubles’, sharing of some crazy ideas and lots of stuffs. I’ve never regret for being in this community…
For me, I’ve never send out any mails in my whole life till I get involved in Lomography.. I’m not afraid to say that out is because I learned something new each and everyday in Lomography.. By using the ‘analogue’ way to send out the parcel by airmail to your overseas friends and not the ‘digital’ way.. I hope you get what I mean. I never knew that it is quite exciting afterall, just like when you’re sending your film roll for developing and you’ve to wait for collection on the next following day (for my country) but you’re not sure of the result.
When I first started analogue photography, many of my friends discouraged me and asked me why I don’t want to move on to digital photography, my answer to them is that they’re both different things and they can’t be compared. Analogue photography and Digital photography has their own pros and cons.. As time goes by, many of my friends became interested in Lomography.. I believed that what interests them is the effect of cross processing (which most of my photos are xpro) and I believed that this applies to most of us here..
I hope you guys will also carry on with what you’re doing now and never regret to be in this community.
