Quiapo Dreaming

Quiapo, one of the busiest spots in Manila, holds many raw and gritty scenes that bring character to the capital. Amidst the activity and disquiet that surrounds the area, many still manage to slip into a few minutes of respite. Are they sleeping on the job? Are they dreaming? Has the bustling commercial center been wearing them out? These questions and the curious juxtaposition of tranquillity and turbulence are the inspiration behind the photo series.
