stopped in baker california, a small town on the way to death valley... spent the night in a motel that had a king sized bed with a huge dip in the middle of it... karolina and i kept rolling towards each other all night long... i didn't mind, but i tried to anchor myself to the edge all night to keep from landing on top of her... went to eat earlier in the evening at the Mad Greek's... some greasy spoon in town that was pretty much all there was in town... i won't soon forget baker though... it had, character, for lack of a better word...
