In no particular order:
He is an amazing lomographer, period. The things that he takes photos of are unique and they always take me far away from the small island that I live on. He is the most generous stranger that I have ever not met, if that makes sense. But I would love to meet him someday and go on a lomowalk!
His photos were love at first sight for me. The gorgeous, square portraits that are scattered in his ‘most popular’ section are my favorites. His photos give off such happy vibes, it’s hard not to ‘like’ all of them!
I’ve always been a sucker for underwater photos; he has some of the most incredible ones that I’ve seen. Aside from those, he also has many land shots that are also very impressive, and I can count on him to give me advice about underwater cameras and such.
Being one of the youngest people on this site, I’ve seen a lot less of the world than most of you. Her photos bring her part of the world to me. Many of her shots have lakes, towering trees, cottages and other things that we don’t have where I live. I always enjoy clicking through her photos.
From the time that I became an active member of lomography, he was one of the first people that I followed. The first photo of his that I saw was a tree surrounded by snow and tinged with purple; I thought it was perfect. His ‘most popular’ section is filled with a variety of different photos, some of my favorites are the underwaters and the double sprocketed eiffel tower.
I only recently started looking at her lomohome regularly. I don’t even know where to start! She captures such surreal photos, usually of people, but sometimes other things. I always look forward to what she posts next.
I first started talking to her after I’d come back from London after spotting her at the lomography store. I remember drooling when I was clicking through her doubles, they were the first things that drew me to her lomohome. Recently, she’s posted some amazing Horizon shots that make me want to get my hands on one myself!
My jaw drops every time I see his photos, especially the gorgeously contrasted Horizon Perfekt photos, which are, perfect!! People tell me that I live in paradise, but when I see his photos, I wish that I lived in Puerto Rico.
I love looking through his photos, simply because their taken in Taiwan; my home town. Not to mention, he has the cutest girlfriend and takes beautiful pictures of her. I miss Taiwan whenever I visit his lomohome…but maybe next summer I’ll go back to Taiwan and possibly do a film swap with him!
I’m a cat person, I love cats. I still remember the first time I visited her lomohome and went through all of the cat photos and ‘liked’ them. But she has waaay more than just photos of cats. I am amazed at her creativity and I always love looking at the self portrait doubles that she does.
Maybe someday I’ll be lucky enough to meet all of you and possibly do film swaps too! Let me know if you’re interested :)
