My hair on the right of the shot is one of the reasons I love this picture so much, turned out very interesting.

We carefully planned to drive from NC, through the night, to arrive at the Flint Hills right at sunrise. It was worth it. Beautiful country

I love film photography. The clouds cleared ever so slightly so I grabbed the WPC and a roll of Astia and headed off to a stream that I thought would probably be high with spring runoff. I got to the stream, which was nice and full and discovered that I had no light meter, no pinhole calculator and no timer, but a great photo opportunity. Not about to miss out, I set up and counted off 8 to 10 seconds per exposure. By the second frame, I realized that the shutter was sticking as well and I had to slap the camera to get it to close. And I absolutely love the way they turned out!
