  • First steps to death (Chernobyl #17)

    shared by wil6ka on 2017-01-30

On our first stop in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone we dropped in a abandonded Kindergarten in the forrest. Probably, it wasn't a forrest back then, but you know. I was a bit scared in the beginning and it proved quickly, that the photographic circumstances are tough for analogue material. We were told before, not to put a tripod or the camera down to touch the ground. And as it was quite dark some of my early shots are a bit shaky. But with time I just lost my fear and put the camera down for longtime exposure...

  • Pian delle More #2

    shared by ilcontrariodime on 2016-09-03

The Bright Side of Emotions: An Interview with Kayla Varley

Growing up in a small town in the middle of California, Kayla Varley knew she wanted to see more of the world, and explore it through her photography. Ever since she was a child, photography was a creative escape to a whole different world. A world where moments are being captured forever.

On the way back from Simon Fraser, I walked from Abbott to Cardero (stopped for a beer at Cardero's before I faced the cat). Stand processed at home in Blazinol (Rodinol) 1+100 for 1 hour.

Camera: Canon EOS 500N Lens: Canon EF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Film: Centuria 200 expired 10/2009 exposed to 160 ISO City: Venezia (in cerca dello scatto perfetto con l'amico analogico @LUCA74UD)
