In the early 21st century, I was a member of a fantastic website called The Lipstick Girls. It was a friendly community of assorted internet folk and the first website I really 'joined' so, when I registered on another site and the username Lori was taken, I used lipstick-lori so that people would know I was one of the Lipstick Girls. Time passed and I joined more and more websites, but the name stuck. Sometimes with the hyphen but more often without; I was always lipstick-lori. Funny thing is... I rarely wear lipstick.
