I did not get to see the Rio de Janeiro's famous sculpture - the Cristo Redentor - up close and personal when I was there last April. I just saw it from a distance - the closest was when we visited a park near the mountain of the statue which afforded us a breathtaking view of the cidade. But when the local health caravan project was brought to San Jose, Tarlac, I got the chance to lomograph a similar statue of the Christ the Redeemer at the Monasterio de Tarlac. Even though it was raining, the shots turned out well. Hope to be back to this prayerful area someday.
