Too Many Weekends

I like the feeling of this photo. I don’t know why it came out like this.

I had the 21st and 22nd off, then the 24th and 25th and the 28th and 29th. I’ll work tomorrow (hooray!), then I’ll have two days off for the new year, work two days, and have the 4th and 5th off.

The hardest part of this time of year for me is that I can’t get into any kind of rhythm. It’s been reading, taking photos, playing portable video games (if anyone has any spare Gameboy accessories, original through 3DS, let me know; realized I like the portables over the consoles, so might as well fill out the cartridge library), listening to hockey, etc. I have to force a pattern, though.

That’s tough. Especially as my family never had much in the way of traditions for this time of the year. Some when we were young, but nothing that really flows over into adulthood. I’m having a party for the new year. I rather hope people attend.

It’s cold and snowy. Can’t blame anyone for staying home.

There are enough weekends, after all.
