  • A Disaster in the Making

    shared by troch on 2011-10-23

This roll has been a bit of a disaster from start to finish. I ordered two 3-packs of the redscale XR 120 and only received one. When LSI shipped the second pack, it arrived as 35mm. I loaded this roll in my Diana 35mm back last week. It completely jammed at frame number 25 and I had to take the film out in the dark and rewind it. The negatives are extremely thin, even thought I exposed for between 100 and 200 iso. But really, that is half the fun of film photography/lomography - never being quite sure....

  • Redscaled Cat Diptych

    shared by laurasulilly on 2011-09-17

I know this is not really square format, but the shutter of my Pentacon keeps getting stuck (could only save 2 "half-frame" shots of the roll), so I made a diptych instead. PS. I do know I'm a cat weirdo, just wait until I will have assembled a whole cat armada (preferably to be used for cat throwing, of course)

We are finally getting some fall colors here, which I am enjoying greatly. I used the 55mm lens with this roll, so that I could go closeup when needed.

I hadn't shot anything with the 35/2 Summicron in a long time but we had a rare few minutes of sunshine the other day and so I dashed off a quick roll in Turners after my trip to the post office. I'd forgotten just how darned sharp this lens is...such amazing detail. Just goes to show that it's all in the glass, the camera is only the box that the film goes through.
