    Alchichica

Every time I go to Veracruz from Mexico City I try to take photographs of the desert from the bus, because I really like the moving landscape, and being in the middle of somewhere. Mexican desert is the best, magical, with lagoons, unknown archeological sites, lizards, UFO`s (some people say, and I would like to lomo-prove it), and much more stories and characters travelling or living around. Lots of things to do, places to stop for a few minutes to grab a bite, or simply to buy things from people waiting by the road bumps. It is nice, your vision gets lost, your mind wonders, and the finger keep pressing the shutter.

First [good] black and white roll (My boyfriend deserves to have the LC-A+ Russian edition because he's never had an analogue camera before. He gets discouraged sometimes using my other cameras because their more difficult. The LC-A+ is simple and completely reliable, something that would get him into the amazing world of analogue.)

Come on! Let’s Do the Color Process!

Since I got into analogue photography, I´ve only developed one roll in the lab: they took one day to develop and scan it, and then I found out they hadn’t scanned the sprocket holes… I really needed a scanner and knowledge on processing/developing!!

A Beginners Guide to Cheap and Easy Developing of Black and White Film at Home

For less than a hundred bucks worth of equipment you can easily start developing your own black and white negatives. The cost of the chemicals works out to be less than $1/35mm roll or a little less than $2/120 roll. If you like to take a ton of pictures and don't have a lot of money to spend developing your own negatives is a lot cheaper and easier than you could possibly have imagined.

Second try with the Olympus Pen FT and much better results exposure wise. I used an EOS adapter to attach my Lensbaby Composer and Scout along with a wide variety of additional closeup lenses and optics. Can't wait to try a roll of slide film through this one next. :)

    The War Against Photography

We've all heard and experienced it one time time or another. You're just minding your own business taking a few snapshots with your Lomo cameras when out of nowhere, uniformed individuals accost you and demand that you either show them a permit or stop shooting. This is the war against photography. Know your rights!
