Hoppers
Shots taken at the steel plant in Gadsden, Alabama, where my father worked from 1969 to 2000, when it was shut down. My brother and I went in a year after the close, and I took these with a Canon EOS Rebel (sorry, guys) on Ilford.
This is a line of hoppers from which the ore, limestone, dolomite, coal, &c, would be dropped into train cars for loading into the furnaces.
